DUCK INN LODGE, Whitefish

The Duck Inn Lodge offers several room types, each with air conditioning, cable TV, and an alarm clock. Some rooms feature a fireplace or a balcony overlooking the gardens or river. The River View King rooms include one king bed, an in-room fireplace, and a balcony with views of the Whitefish River. The Logan Suite offers a king bed, fireplace, balcony, and chair, plus a large in-room Jacuzzi tub. The Oberlin and Izaak Deluxe River View Rooms have 180-degree riverbend views, a whirlpool tub, fireplace, and king bed; the Izaak room is located on the main floor and lacks a balcony but offers the best views. The Standard King room mirrors the River View King but without direct river views. The Belton Family Room includes one king, one queen, and bunk beds, with fireplace, plus two bedrooms and one bathroom. Certain rooms include views of the river or garden, while one room, with a garden view, includes 1 set of twin bunk beds.

A fresh breakfast is included in the rates, served from 7-10 AM (8-10 AM from October-May), featuring a daily-made casserole and homemade waffles. Baked egg casserole or waffles with fruit, nuts, and cream are served. The Fireside Lounge offers fresh ground and brewed coffee and baked selections. In the lounge area, guests can find a collection of movies and games.

Duck Inn Lodge features free WiFi throughout the property, ski storage space, and a sun terrace. Guests have access to a great room with fireplace, a small library, board games and puzzles, and coolers. A computer with internet is available. For very young children, the property provides a portable pack 'n play and a high chair. Guests can borrow bear spray, hiking poles, or snowshoes.

Duck Inn Lodge is located 20 km from Glacier Park International. Downtown Whitefish, with small town boutique shopping and dining, is within walking distance, approximately one mile from the lodge. Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, is a 30-minute drive away. Kalispell is 10 miles south of Whitefish. The Whitefish Bike Park offers lift access to downhill routes.

Duck Inn Lodge is a smoke free property. As the property has multiple levels due to its hillside location, guests will have to use stairs to enter and move around the home. Innkeepers are available to assist with luggage handling. A full refund less a $25.00 service fee will be given with at least 30 days notice.
